Femoral Catheter
Kenko Skein Femoral Catheter is designed for dialysis procedures and is placed in the femoral vein of the thigh. The catheter consists of a flexible tube inserted into the vein using a needle and is secured with medical tape or sutures. It enables the safe delivery of intravenous fluids, nutrition, or medications and is especially useful when alternative central venous access routes are not feasible.
Features:
• Efficient working, Much greater bursting strength
• Packed in special damage proof packaging

Ken-Cath™ Pro Chronic Hemodialysis Catheter with Innovative Symmetric Tip design
KEY FEATURES
Symmetrical Design: The arterial and venous lumens have an identical structure and position at the catheter tip, unlike step-tip or split-tip designs.
High Flow Rates: These catheters are designed to provide consistent, high flow rates ensuring efficient dialysis.
Anti-Wall Suction: Many symmetrical tip catheters incorporate an anti-wall suction design (like a spiral or helical tip) to prevent the catheter tip from adhering to the vessel wall, which helps maintain continuous flow and reduces the risk of occlusion.
Reduced Complications: Studies have shown a lower incidence of low blood flow, thrombosis, infection, and fibrin sheath formation compared to traditional step-tip catheters, leading to longer catheter dwell times.
Placement Flexibility: The tip design often allows for greater flexibility during placement and ease of use over a guidewire, without requiring a stylet for insertion in some cases.
Material: They are often made from high-tensile strength, kink-resistant, and which optimizes inner diameter integrity and visualization during imaging.

Tenckhoff Peritoneal Dialysis Catheter
GENERAL FEATURES
Material: Made from medical-grade, biocompatible silicone rubber or polyurethane, chosen for their flexibility, durability, and minimal tissue irritation.
Design: The catheter has an internal (intraperitoneal) segment that sits in the abdominal cavity and an external (extraperitoneal) segment that exits the body.
Cuffs: One or two Dacron (polyester) cuffs are incorporated into the catheter's design. Tissue grows into the cuffs after placement, which helps to anchor the catheter in place, stabilize it, and create a barrier against ascending infection.
Inflow/Outflow Holes: The internal tip of the catheter has multiple diffusion holes to ensure optimal inflow and drainage of the dialysate solution.
