Tenckhoff Peritoneal Dialysis Catheter
GENERAL FEATURES
Material: Made from medical-grade, biocompatible silicone rubber or polyurethane, chosen for their flexibility, durability, and minimal tissue irritation.
Design: The catheter has an internal (intraperitoneal) segment that sits in the abdominal cavity and an external (extraperitoneal) segment that exits the body.
Cuffs: One or two Dacron (polyester) cuffs are incorporated into the catheter's design. Tissue grows into the cuffs after placement, which helps to anchor the catheter in place, stabilize it, and create a barrier against ascending infection.
Inflow/Outflow Holes: The internal tip of the catheter has multiple diffusion holes to ensure optimal inflow and drainage of the dialysate solution.
Ureteral Access Sheath
Kenko Skein Ureteral Access Sheath is designed to facilitate smooth ureteral dilation and provide a stable working channel for the introduction of flexible scopes during ureteral access and RIRS procedures. It is also available with a hydrophilic coating to enhance ease of insertion and procedural efficiency.
